Moving or Relocating the LT20 S2/LT40 S2/LT60 S2
Before moving or relocating the LT20 S2/LT40 S2/LT60 S2, consult with your sales representative or a Fujitsu
maintenance service center.
LCD Unit (Operator Panel)
The LCD unit (operator panel) in the LT20 S2/LT40 S2/LT60 S2 contains mercury. To ensure safety, observe the
precautions:
Do not put the unit into your mouth. Mercury is extremely poisonous.
Do not change the LCD unit into gas, powder, or liquid. Aspiration or accidental ingestion of mercury that is
heated, crushed, or liquidized by chemical treatment is hazardous.
In disposal of the unit, make sure to observe the applicable domestic laws and regulations and waste
disposal rules defined by the company.
The LT20 S2/LT40 S2/LT60 S2 must be disposed of separately from general industrial waste and household
waste.
LCD of the LCD Unit
The phenomena described below may occur on the LCD of the LCD unit in the LT20 S2/LT40 S2/LT60 S2. Note
that these phenomena do not result from a faulty LCD, but are due to its characteristics.
A lattice pattern may appear on the LCD at power-on. The pattern will soon disappear and poses no
problem.
Display colors may vary slightly depending on the LCD product due to variation in the production process.
Slight unevenness in display colors due to a characteristic of the LCD may be caused by a temperature
change.
Although the LCD is produced based on extremely precise technologies, it may have some dots that are
always off or on.
Light of Barcode Reader
Do not look directly into the light of the barcode reader mounted on the LT20 S2/LT40 S2/LT60 S2. Looking
directly into the laser beams or flashes of light emitted from the light source could cause eye injury.
