4 Specify the Generic Cleaning items as follows:
• When an LTO5 drive is used (model name: LTS2Z246E, LTS2Z247E, LTS2Z248E, LTS2Z256E,
LTS2Z257E, LTS2Z258E, LTS2Z246L, LTS2Z247L, LTS2Z248L, LTS2Z256L, LTS2Z257L,
LTS2Z258L)
- Issue a load command to start cleaning cycle: ON (the default setting is "ON")
- Use Generic Cleaning: ON (the default setting is "OFF")
• When an LTO6, LTO7, or LTO8 drive is used (model name: LTS2Z246E, LTS2Z247E, LTS2Z248E,
LTS2Z256E, LTS2Z257E, LTS2Z258E, LTS2Z246L, LTS2Z247L, LTS2Z248L, LTS2Z256L,
LTS2Z257L, LTS2Z258L)
- Issue a load command to start cleaning cycle: OFF (the default setting is "ON")
- Use Generic Cleaning: ON (the default setting is "OFF")
The following shows an example configuration in which "Issue a load command to start cleaning
cycle" is set to "OFF" and "Use Generic Cleaning" is set to "ON".
5 Enter "b" and then press the [Enter] key.
The Device Configuration screen appears again.
6 Enter "2" and then press the [Enter] key.
"2) Configuration..." is selected. The Configuration screen appears.
