Country and keyboard settings
If you want to change the country a nd keyboard settings, proceed as follows:
► Enter the settings by clicking Sta r t – (Settings) – Control Panel – Time, R egional and Language Opti on s.
Touchpad and touchpad buttons
Keep the touchpad clean. Protect it from dirt, liquids and grease.

Do not use the touchpad if your fingers are dirty.
Do not rest heavy objects (e.g. books) on the touchp ad or the touchpad buttons.

The touchpad enables you
to move the m ouse pointer on the screen.
The touchpad buttons allo
w you to select and execute commands. They correspond
to the buttons on a conven
tional mouse.
You can use a key combinat
ion to disable the touchpad, to avoid accidentally moving
the pointer on the scre
en (see also "
Key combina tions", Page 24).
Moving the pointer
► Move your finger on the touchpad.

Selecting an item
► Move the pointer to the item you w ish to select.

The item is selected.
