Radio components ind icator
• The indicator is illuminated: The radio components are switched on.
• Indicator is off: The radio c omponents are switched off.

Battery charging indicator/power connector
The state of charge of the battery is shown by the battery indicator.
Without the mains adapter connected:
• Indicator is off: The system is in battery operation.
• The indicator flashes orange: The battery charge is less than 12% .
With mains adapter conn ected:
• The indicator lights up blue: The battery is fully charged.
• The indicator lights up orange: The battery is charging.
• The indicator flashes orange: An error has occurred. The battery
cannot b e charged.
• Indicator is off: Th ere is no battery installed.

The indicator is lit: One of the drives (e.g. hard disk, CD/DVD) is being
accessed.

key has been pressed . The virtual numerica l
keypad is activated. You can ou tput the characters indicated on the upper
right of the keys.
Caps Lock indicato r

The indicator is lit: T he Caps Lock key h as been pressed. All the characters
you type will appear in up per case. In the case of overlay keys, the
character printed on the upper left of the key will appear when that key
is pressed.

► Open the LCD screen.
Switchingon
► Press the ON/OFF switch for about one
second to switch the noteboo k on.
The power-on indicator is lit.
