► Remove the battery (see C hapter "Removing the ba ttery", Pa ge 30).

► Remove the scr ew (1).
Keep the screws in a safe place. If you are removing more than one component at
the same time, store the screws for th e individual compo nents separately from each
other. If you install the wrong screws, components m ay be damaged.
► Lift the cov
er off the notebook (2).
