Removing and installing the battery
Only use ba tteries approved by Fujitsu for your notebook.
Never use force when fitting or removing a battery.
Make sure that no foreign bodies get into the battery connections.
Never store a battery for long periods in the discharged state. T his
can make it impossible to recharge.
The LIFEBOOK U747 is illustrated below. The procedure is the
same for all three device variants.
Removing a battery

► Slide the release (button) (2) in the direction of the arrow.
