Installing and removing an M.2 m
odule
LIFEBOOK U 727 and LIFEBOOK U747 are equipped with a service compartment for an M .2
module. In the LIFEBO O K U757, you can either install an M.2 module (with corresponding
M.2 adapter) or a standard hard disk (HDD, without M.2 adapter), see "
Removing and
installing the hard disk (HDD, LIFEBOOK U757 only)", Page 79.
Remove the cover

Keep the screw
s in a safe place. If you are removing more than one component at
the same time,
store the screws for the individual components separate from each
other. If you
install the wrong screws, components m ay be damaged.
The screws ar
e not all the same length and w hen the cover is installed,
the correct
screws must be used.
► Lift the cover off the notebook (2).
