At this USB (USB Type-C ) p ort, y ou can charge a connected USB device or operate
devices without an additional power supply (e.g. a monitor or printer).
The USB Type-C c onnector is reversible and both ends of the cable are identical.
This is also possible with the notebook switche d off, if the U SB Type-C Power Delivery
on System Off function is activa ted in the Advanced - Miscellaneous Configurations menu
of the BIOS Setup Utility. Calling up and u sing the BIOS Setup Utility is described
in section "
Settings in BIOS Setup Utility", Page 83.
USB devices are hot-pluggable. This means you can connect and disconnect the
cables of USB devices while the operating system is running.

USB 3.1 Gen 1 has a data transfer rate of up to 5 Gbps.
USB 3.1 Gen 2 has a data transfer rate of up to 10 Gbps.
