4 Preparation
V CAUTION!
Follow the safety instructions in the chapter "Safety instructions" on
page 15.
4.1 Opening the Server Blade
Ê Exit all applications and shut down the server blade correctly. If your
operating system has not switched off the server, press the on/off button on
the server blade control panel.

Ê Push the release lever (1) up slightly to unlock the ejection lever (2).
Ê Swivel the ejection lever down until it is horizontal.
