8 SAS RAID Controller

8.1 Installing a SAS RAID controller
To control the two hard disk drives (HDD) of the server blade, you can install a
SAS RAID mezzanine card instead of mezzanine card #2. This is connected via
cable to a special HDD backplane, which also has to be installed.
The following photo shows the parts you need for the installation:

2 SAS cable #2 for the SAS1 connector (gray)
3 SGPIO cable
4 SAS RAID mezzanine card D3016
5 iBBU08 with 3 screws (optional)
6 Heat sink for the IOH
7 HDD backplane
