6.1.1.5 Indicators on the hot-plug HDD/SSD modules

If a hard disk drive or solid state drive continuously indicates an error, the drive
should be replaced as soon as possible. This can be done during operation (see
"Hot-plug HDD/SSD modules" on page 106).
Pos. Description
1 HDD/SSD BUSY (green)
– Flashing: HDD/SSD in active phase (drive active, drive being
accessed)
– Does not light: HDD/SSD inactive (drive inactive)
2 HDD/SSD FAULT (orange)
– Does not light: no HDD/SSD error
– Lights up: HDD/SSD Faulty or Rebuild Stopped (drive
defective/needs replacing, a rebuild process was stopped or the
HDD/SSD module is not correctly inserted)
– Slow flashing: HDD/SSD Rebuild (the data is being restored after
changing a drive)
– Fast flashing: HDD/SSD Identify
