2. Select an application or a profile before scanning.
(Profile Mode)
The following gives you detailed descriptions of a series of operations.
For the combination of ([SCAN] button) and <Quick Menu Mode>, refer to "Scanning
documents in Quick Menu Mode" (page 32).
For the combination of ([SCAN] button) and <Profile Mode>, refer to "Scanning documents
in Profile Mode" (page 37).
(1)On the "Select a Profile" window, select a
desirable application (profile).
(2)Press the [SCAN] button to scan the
document.
⇒ The selected application starts up for you
to perform the selected action.
HINT
Profile Mode has the following features:
• You can scan the document at the press of a button.
• This way of scanning is suitable when you want to scan the document by using
an application specified in advance.
• You can add profiles modified to suit the needs or preferences of you.
