Windows 10 Procedures
It is very imp ortant that yo u create your Reco very Drive b efore beginni ng to use you r system.
It is also important that you create a backup of the content of C:\D rivers on your
system to writable m edia or an external drive. System-specific softw are drivers are
also avai lable for download throug h the Fujitsu support site.

Creating a recovery drive
A recovery drive can h
elp you troubleshoot and ¿x problems with your PC, even if it won’t
start. To create one
, all you need is a USB Àash drive. Windows will inform you of the
size of the USB Àash d
rive needed to hold the required data.
1. From the taskbar, s
earch for Create a recovery drive and then select it. You m ay be
asked to ente r an ad
ministrator pa ssword or con ¿rm your selection.
2. When the tool opens, make sure Backup system files to the recovery drive
is selected and then select Next.
3. Connect a USB driv
e to your PC, select it, and then select Next - Create. A large number of
¿les need to be c
opied to the recovery drive, so this could take some time.
4. When it’s done, select Finish.
Note:
If you chose no
t to back up the system ¿les when you creat ed your recovery drive on
Windows 10, yo
u won’t be able to use it to reinstall W indows.
Recovery options in Windows 10
If your PC isn’t running as quickly o r reliably as it used to, try one of these recovery
options. The following table can help you decide which one to use.

Restore from a system restore point
This option takes your PC back to an earlier point in time, called a system restore point. Restore
points are generated when you install a new app, driver, or Windows update, and w hen you
