FT-C Vertical Electric Thermal Fluid Heater Manual 12 2013 ISSUE 1
The following instructions apply only to units supplied with dual fuel burners.
These procedures should be performed only when the uid is cold, unless sufcient safeguards are
provided to prevent contact with hot uid piping in the vicinity of the burner.
1. Set the fuel switch to “OFF” and the heat selector switch to either “Pump” or “OFF .”
2) Turn off the manual gas cocks in the gas train.
3) Remove the gas nozzle orice assembly from the burner.
4) Install the oil nozzle assembly (see Figure 18) and attach the oil whips to the assembly.
5) Open all oil manual shutoff valves.
6) Set the fuel selector switch to the proper fuel. Restart unit normally

3) Detach the oil whips and remove the oil nozzle assembly.
4) Install the gas nozzle orice assembly (see Figure 19) and open the gas cocks in the gas train.
5) Reset the high/low gas pressure switch.
6) Refer to Figure 20 for complete dual fuel assembly.
7) Set the fuel selector switch to the proper fuel. Restart unit normally.
