Information on Playback
The contents of disc are generally divided into sections or
folders (groups of titles / files) as shown below.
• For audio CD, files are referred to as “tracks”.
Setting Up for Playback
Before playing back, refer to “Playback” section in the
“Function Setup” table on page 62, and finish setting up all the
necessary settings. Refer to page 57 on how to navigate
through the setup menus.
Basic Playback
A title / file (track) can be selected for playback in the title / file
list. Title/File list is the list of the recorded contents stored in
the media. As for title list, you can call up the title list menu
which gives you the list of available functions for the selected
title.
• Title/File list can also be accessed from the setup menu
screen.

To call up the title list...
Select the correct component mode first, then press
[TOP MENU].

2 Possible recording capacity left
3 Refer to 2, 3, 5, 8 of “In Playback or Stop Mode”
in “Media Information Display” on page 13.
4 Title name of the selected title
5 Title list:
a) “ ” appears if the title has never been played back.
b) Title number and the title name
c) Recorded date
6Preview window:
Following icons may appear in the preview window
depending on the title.
“ ” indicates the title is copy-prohibited.
“ ” indicates the title is copy-once title.
“ ” indicates the title is protected.
7 Title information:
“Time”: Duration of the recording and the recording mode
“Date”: Recorded date
“Start”: The time recording was started.
“CH”: Recorded channel
“Size”: Size of the title
