6.8.2 How to register/edit WAN group as "PPPoE"
The FELCOM251/501 can connect (dial-up connection) to the internet via PPPoE.
With the Web interface and PC set up for PPPoE, the dial-up application directly con-
trols connection and disconnection of the data line. (It is not necessary to boot the
Web interface to connect to the internet.) The PPPoE settings must be done by the
network administrator.
1. Referring to section 6.1, login as an Administrator.
2. Click [Admin], [Network Settings], [WAN], then [Groups].
3. Click [Add group].
The following pop-up window appears.
To edit a WAN group, click the [Settings] button for the WAN group to edit. Edit
the settings referring to this step and later.
4. Referring to the following table, set up the connection type and the group name.
Item Description
Connection Type Select "PPPoE".
Group name Input the group name.
Next button Go to the next step.
Cancel button Close the pop-up window.
