Troubleshooting report
The troubleshooting report contains the following information. When contacting your
dealer for support, please enclose this file.
• All settings data
• All logs data
• Program version
1. Open the Web interface.
2. Click [Help service].
3. Click [Troubleshooting Report] to show the [Troubleshooting Report] menu.
4. Click the [Generate Report] button.
It normally takes about one minute, sometimes longer, to generate the report.
5. Save the file on your PC.
The file is saved in zip format.
Note: Do not unzip the archives.
7.5 Diagnostics
Your FELCOM251/ FELCOM501 contains the diagnostics that check the IP Handset,
Communication Unit, and Antenna Unit. The tests are for use by qualified technicians,
but you can do the tests to help the qualified technician in troubleshooting.
7.5.1 IP Handset test
This test checks the ROM/RAM, LCD, key, hook, temperature sensor, and sound for
the IP Handset.
To go back to the main screen during each test excluding the key test, press the
key.
1. At the main screen, press the Enter key to open the main menu.
2. Press W, S, X or T to select the [Settings] menu.
3. Press T to select the [Diagnostics] menu.
The [Diagnostics] screen appears.
