Reboot
The GarageSmart
can be rebooted without having to remove the cover.
1. Press and release the STOP button 4 times within 3 seconds (holding down the
STOP button on the 4
th
press).
2. Release the STOP button between 5 and 10 seconds.
3. The STOP button will flash for approximately 8 seconds. When the STOP button
stops flashing the GarageSmart
device will reboot.
1. If the STOP button is not flashing after performing the above steps in order, then wait 5 seconds
before repeating the above steps.
Factory Reset
A factory reset can be performed on the GarageSmart
device without having to remove the
cover, that will reset the Port of the GarageSmart
device to its default Port (80), and clear all
Wi-Fi Settings.
1. Perform step 1 through 3 within the Reboot section above.
2. While the STOP button is flashing, press and hold the CLOSE button.
3. When the STOP button stops flashing, continue to hold the CLOSE button while
pressing and releasing the STOP button 4 times within 3 seconds (holding down the
STOP button on the 4
th
press).
4. Release only the CLOSE button between 5 and 10 seconds.
5. The GarageSmart
device will then perform a factory reset by quickly flashing its
warning light and sounding the buzzer.
