The lower oven drawer may be used to bake foods using the same times and temperatures as a standard oven.
Foods ideal for baking in the lower oven drawer include pizza, frozen foods, casseroles, biscuits, rolls and many desserts.
Push in and turn the lower oven

To Use the Lower Oven Drawer

r_ Allowthe lower oven drawer to preheat.
TheON signal light islocated on the upper
right sideof the knob and glows when the
knob isin the ON position.It remains ON until
the knob ismoved to the OFFposition.
The"Heating" signal light is located below
the ONsignal light and glows when the
heating elementsare active. Preheatis
complete after the "Heating" signal has
turned off for thefirst time with each use.
NOTES:
Always usethe included drawer rack when
usingthe Lower Oven Drawer.

Thelower oven drawer cannot be used
during a self-clean cycleof the upper oven.
Donot put food, foil or cookware directly on
the bottom of the lower oven drawer. Always
usethe included drawer rack.
Iffoods require a cover,use only foil or lids
able to withstand baking temperatures.
Donot use plastic.
Maximum height of foods that can be placed
in the lower oven drawer is4".
Donot put liquid or water in the lower oven
drawer.
Neverplace plastics,paper, canned foods
or combustible material in the lower oven
drawer.
The lower oven drawer useslessenergy than the upper oven.
Allow the following approximate times for preheating:

WARM 10 minutes
350°F 20 minutes
425°F 30 minutes
Adjust the lower oven thermostat--Do it yourself!
You may find that your new oven cooks differently than the one it replaced. Use your new oven for a few weeks to
become more familiar with it. If you still think your new oven is too hot or too cold, you can adjust the thermostat
yourself.
Do not use thermometers, such as those found in grocery stores, to check the temperature setting of your oven. These
thermometers may vary 20-40 degrees.
NOTE:This adjustment will not affect the broiling temperatures.
Back of Lower Oven Knob
(Appearance may vary.)
Pullthe OVENCONTROLknob off the
range and look at the back side.Tomake
an adjustment, loosen(approximately one
turn), but do not completely remove,the
two screws on the back of the knob.
With the back of the knobfacing you, hold
the outer edge of the knobwith one hand
and turn the front of the knob with the
other hand.
Toraise the oventemperature, move the
top screwtoward the right. You'llhear a
clickfor each notch you move the knob.
To lower the temperature, move the top
screw toward the left.
Eachclick will change the oven temperature
approximately 10°F.(Rangeis _+60°F.from
the arrow.)Wesuggest that you make the
adjustment one clickfrom the original setting
and check oven performance beforemaking
any additional adjustments.
r_ After the adjustment ismade, retighten
screws sothey are snug, but be careful not
to overtighten.
r_ Reinstallknob on range and check
performance.
