Care and cleaning of the range,
Be sure electrical power is off and all surfaces are cool before cleaning any part of the range.
A WARNING: fyourrangeisremovedforcleaning,servicingoranyreason,
be sure the anti-tip device is reengaged properly when the range is replaced. Failure
to take this precaution could result in tipping of the range and cause injury.
Lodge ® Cast Iron Griddle
rT] Rinsewith hot water (do not use soap),and
dry thoroughly.
r_ Beforecooking, prepare the surface with
cooking spray or vegetable oil.
r_ After cooking, clean the griddle with a stiff
brush and hot water. Usingsoap is not
recommended, and harshdetergents
should never be used.
r-_ Towel dry immediately and apply a light
coat of cooking spray or vegetable oil
while the griddle isstill warm.

Storeina cool,dry place.
Do not wash in a dishwasher.
Griddle Precautions:
If something hasspilled under the griddle,
it should be cleaned up assoon as possible
to prevent "baked on" food soil.Seethe

the griddle as it can be a fire hazard. Clean

Stainlesssteelhas a reputationfor withstanding
toughabuseforyears.Thisisa keyreasonwhy it is
sopopularwith the foodserviceindustry.
However,stainlesssteelappliances can
have surfaceimperfections,discolorations or
blemishesthat consumerswith a critical eye
notice and find unattractive inthe home.These
discolorationsor blemishescan be caused
by something assimple as leavingfingerprint
smudgeson the stainlesssteelsurface overnight.

on the surface,we recommend
APPLYINGACOATOFCERAMABRYTE®Stainless
SteelCleaning Polish& Conditioner (purchased
separately-follow instructions).
Thiswillhelpyou to maintainthe brightnessand
appearanceof your stainlesssteelappliance.
Cleaning
Do not use a steel wool pad; it will scratch the
surface.
Inorder to avoid any discolorations and/or
greasestains,we recommend cleaning and
removing any spills,spots and grease from
the range after use.
It isimportant to usea soft cloth or paper
towel every time the range iscleaned to
avoid any scratches.
Readcarefully the instructions on the back
of the Brightener(included with your range) for
better results.
Cleaning Instructions:
r-f] Wash usingwarm, soapy water:
wet soft cloth or paper towel (avoid using
excessivewater).
Wipethe surface in the direction of the
grain (following the steel lines).
Rinseand wring out a soft cloth or paper
towel and dry the range.
r_ Apply a degreaser that does not contain
sodium hydroxide or StainlessSteel
Cleaner(follow instructions).
r_ Apply cerama Bryte®StainlessSteel
Brightener(follow instructions).

Follow these instructions for any StainlessSteel
surface on your range.
