Cleaning the Oven Door

Becausethe area insidethe gasket is
cleaned during the self-cleancycle,you do
not need to clean this by hand.
Thearea outside the gasket and the door
liner can be cleaned with a soap-filled
or plastic scouring pad,hot water and
detergent. Rinsewellwith a vinegar and
water solution.
To clean the outside of the door'.
Usesoap and water to thoroughly clean the
top, sidesand front of the ovendoor. Rinse
well. Youmay also usea glass cleaner to
clean the glass on the outside of the door. Do
not letwater drip into the vent openings.
Ifany stain on the door vent trim is
persistent,use a soft abrasive cleaner and a
sponge-scrubber for best results.
Spillageof marinades,fruit juices, tomato
sauces and basting materials containing
acids may cause discoloration and should be
wiped up immediately. When surface iscool,
clean and rinse.
Donot use oven cleaners,cleaning powders
or harsh abrasiveson the outside of the
door.

frame, to the unlocked position.A tool,
such asa small flat-blade screwdriver,
may be required.
r_ Firmly grasp both sidesof the door at the
top.
r_ close door to the door removal position,
which ishalfway between the broil stop
position and fully closed.
[] Lift door up and out until the hinge arm is
clearof the slot.

Fullyopen the door. Ifthe door will not
fully open,the indentation is not seated
correctly inthe bottom edge of the slot.
Pushthe hinge locks up against the front
frame of the oven cavity to the locked
position.

Oven Heating Elements
Do not clean the bake element or the broil
element. Any soil will burn off when the
elements are heated.
Toclean the oven floor, gently lift the bake
element. Cleanwith warm, soapy water.
