Be sure all controls are off and all surfaces are cool before cleaning any part of the range.

Ifyour range is removed for cleaning, servicing or any reason, be
sure the anti-tip device is reengaged properly when the range is
replaced. Failure to take this precaution could result in tipping of
the range and can result in death or serious bums to children or
adults.
How to Remove Protective Shipping Film and Packaging Tape
Carefullygraspa corneroftheprotectiveshipping
film withyourfingersandslowlypeelitfromthe
appliancesurface.Donot useanysharpitemsto
removethefilm.Removeallofthefilm beforeusing
theapplianceforthefirsttime.
Toensureno damageisdoneto the finishof the
product,thesafestwayto removethe adhesivefrom
packagingtapeon newappliancesisan application
ofa householdliquiddishwashingdetergent.Apply
witha softclothandallowto soak.
NOTE:Theadhesivemustberemovedfrom allparts.
ttcannotberemovedif it is bakedon.
Control Knobs
Thecontrolknobsmayberemovedfor easier
cleaning.
Hakesuretheknobsarein theOFFpositionsand
pullthemstraightoffthe stemsfor cleaning.
Theknobscanbecleanedina dishwasherorthey
mayalsobewashedwith soapandwater. Hake
suretheinsideofthe knobsaredry beforereplacing.
Replacethe knobs,intheOFFpositionto ensure
properplacement.
Control Panel
it'sa goodideato wipe the controlpanelaftereach
useoftheoven.Usea dampclothto cleanor rinse.
Forcleaning,usemildsoapandwater ora 50/50
solutionofvinegarandwater.Forrinsing,useclean
water.Polishdry witha softcloth.
Donot useabrasivecleansers,strongliquidcleaners,
plasticscouringpadsor ovencleanersonthe control
panel-they will damagethefinish.
Painted Surfaces
Paintedsurfacesincludethesidesofthe rangeand
thedoor,top of controlpanelandthe drawerfront.
Cleanthesewithsoapandwateror avinegarand
water solution.
Donot usecommercialovencleaners,cleaning
powders,steelwoolor harshabrasivesonany
paintedsurface.
Stainless Steel Surfaces (on some models)
Do not use a steel wool pad; it will scratch the
surface.
Toclean the stainless steelsurface, use warm,
sudsywater or a stainless steelcleaner or
polish.Always wipe the surface in the direction
of the grain. Followthe cleaner instructions for
cleaning the stainlesssteel surface.

Porcelain Enamel Cooktop (onsome models)
The porcelain enamel finish is sturdy but
breakable if misused.Thisfinish is acid-
resistant. However,any acidic foods spilled
(suchasfruit juices, tomato or vinegar) should
not be permitted to remain on the finish.
If acids spill on the cooktop while it is hot, use
a dry paper towel or cloth to wipe it up right
away. When the surface hascooled, wash with
soap and water. Rinsewell.
Forother spillssuch as fat spatterings, wash
with soap and water or cleansing powders
after the surface has cooled. Rinsewell. Polish
with a dry cloth.
