Checkout of the IC subsystems are the same as for the 9800 system, refer to the preceding portions of Section
3 in this manual. If tape compatibility problems occur between the IC and 9800 Mag tape systems check head
alignment of both systems. Refer to DG’s 6026 Maintenance Manual which can be found in 6026 Mag Tape
Manual, Part 4 for head alignment procedure.
