SECTION 11 REGEN
The REGEN program can be used to change a number of system parameters without performing a complete
Load-from-Cold procedure. Parameters which can be changed include:
1) Exam number, phantom CT numbers, or line printer option
2) Decrease the number of scan data files
3) Delete Overscan option
4) Delete Optical Disk as the Archive Media
5) Change the X-Ray Tube Type
6) Add and define additional DataLink stations, if selected on system.
7) Turn ON/OFF Datalink Error Logging
8) Physician Title
9) Detector ID
10) Detector Assembly Number
11) System ID
12) 3D Shading
13) RECON Priority
14) Preferred QUICKCALS
15) Slope Calibration Control
16) Slope Calibration Status
NOTE: REGEN cannot increase the number of raw data files (SLCF’s) nor can REGEN be used to make
the raw data files larger with the overscan option. To select overscan or create additional raw data
files, you must do another load-from-cold.
NOTE: REGEN in WH includes the following global switches:
REGEN/S For Slope Calibration Control
REGEN/V For Slope Calibration Status
REGEN/A For Normal Regen plus Slope Calibration Control
To modify these system parameters, enter REGEN at the R level as follows:
