k) When scanned on itself, a phantom shall not be moved between calibration and scanning.
l) No overranges will be allowed in detector channels within the specified channels.
m) Perform a Cal Check on all calibrations prior to image performance data collection. For Cal Check,
scan at 35 cm/L, 35 cm/M and 20 cm/S (for 20 cm, use the water portion of the QA phantom). All Cal
Check images must be free of rings and center artifacts to be acceptable.
n) An additional image tape is shipped with each system. This additional image tape, labeled
“CT 9800 Images”, contain typical images for the QA Phantom.
➤ Each shipped CT 9800 system will include “CT 9800 Images” tape depicting typical images for the
QA Phantom.
