13-13 Center Flat Phantom
Next, center the 5” flat poly crosstalk phantom to within ± 0.5 mm.
13-14 Scan Flat Phantom
Repeat the 12 scans as depicted for the slope phantom in section 13-12, except enter “Flat Phantom” when the
system asks for “Name” at the Patient/Exam Parameters Screen.
13-15 Turning AutoTest OFF
The AutoTest function will turn off automatically after 24 recons have been completed. To explicitly turn off
AutoTest mode before AutoTest completes cancel to R-level. To run normally, run “M”. To run service mode
without autotest, run REGEN/S first and turn off autotest.
NEW AUTOTEST Activity value (Y?N): type N, return to turn off AUTOTEST.
13-16 reconDataLog File
The file QDR:SLOPECAL.LG is created by the reconDataLog function. The file is updated after each
reconstruction has completed. Data is logged until the maximum number of 1000 recons has been reached.
Note: If you wish to save the recon.log to tape:
a) Mount a tape: DIR QDR
INIT MT0
DUMP/A/V MT0:0 SLOPE-.LG
or
b) Run SNAPS
13-17 Notes re reconDataLog and AutoTest
1. Status of both of these operations, and log file contents is available by running REGEN/V.
2. reconDataLog will run in M or M/S. Autotest will run only in M/S.
3. They use separate logs, and clear only when restarting a specific log. Both logs may be stored on tape by
DUMP, SDUMP, or SNAPS.
13-18 Execute Auto Summary - Enter DIR CTDS and type AUTOSUM, return. SEE DIR 46-018000, 8-4 to
interpret the results. AUTOSUM turns OFF by itself. Auto Summary is on the General Diagnostic
Tape. Please load this tape before trying to execute AUTOSUM.
