TABLE TO GANTRY ALIGNMENT
Proper installation of the table and gantry using the floor templates will not always insure proper alignment
between the table and gantry. Due to stacking errors in the table, from the base to the cradle, the cradle may be
off center relative to the scan plane. This problem would be manifested by the amount of off - centering of the
headholder in the Displayed Field of View (DFOV) on the console display. Customers are very sensitive to the
headholders appearing off - center on the image display. Therefore, this section describes the procedure for
aligning the table and the gantry by scanning the following items and evaluating the results:
(a) Laser Light Alignment Tool (46-241730P1)
(b) Patient Headholder
