Battery Replacement
Battery
Location
The battery is located in position BT1 on the main board. To find the battery, remove
the iBox top cover, and look to the bottom center-right of the main board, close to
the column of relays.
Battery Type
The iBox uses a 3 V, BR2/3A, lithium battery, GE part number 980-0026.
Procedure
To replace the battery:

Remove power to the iBox.

Remove the top cover.
3
Remove the battery by removing the holder clip.
4
Replace the battery with a GE battery, part number 980-0026. Check that
battery has been inserted correctly by verifying the polarity markings.

Snap the battery holder clip back into place.
6
Replace the cover.
7
Reconnect the power.
