Usingthe oven.
Toavoid possible bums, place the shelves in the desired position before you turn the oven on.

Theoven has 6 shelf 3osifions.
Before you begin...
The shelves haxe stop-locks, so that when
placed correctly on the shelf supports (A
through F), the}.'will stop before coming
complemly out, and will not flit.
_]_en placing and remofing cookware,
pull the shelf out m the bump on the shelf
support.
Toremovea shelf,pull it toward you, tilt the
front end up and pull it out.
TOreplace, place the end of the shelf
(stop-locks) on the support, flit up the fl'ont
and push the shelf in.
CAUTION:Whenyouareusingthesheffinthelowest
position(A),youwi//needtousecautionwhenpuffing
theshelfout.Werecommendthatyoupufftheshelf
outseveralinchesandthen,usingtwopotholders,pu//
theshelfoutbyholdingthesidesofit. Theshelfislow
andyoucouldbeburnedif youp/aceyourhandinthe
middleoftheshelfandpu//a//thewayout.Beyen/
carefulnottoburnyourhandonthedoorwhenusing
theshelfinthelowestposition(A).
How to Set the Oven for Baking or Roasting
[_ Touch the Bake pad.
Touch the + or - pads until the
desired tempe[_ature is displayed.
[_] Touch the Start/On pad.
The o_n will start automaflcally. The display
will show PrEwhile preheaflng, h]mn the
o_n reaches the selected temperature, the
oxen conu'ol will beep sexeval flmes and the
display will show the oxen tempeI_aUlI'e.
TochangetheoventemperatureduringBAKEcyc/e,
touchtheBake padandthenthe+ or- padsto get
thenewtemperature.
Check. food for doneness at minimum
nine on recipe. Cook longer if necessai>
[_ Touch the Clear/Offl)ad when baking
isfinished and then remove the food
fl'om the o_en.

Preheating and Pan Placement
Preheat the o_enif the recipecalls for it.
Preheaflng is necessaU %r good resultswhen
baking cakes, cookies, pasuy and breads.
TheDisplaywillshow"PrE"whilepreheatingWhen
theovenreachestheselectedtemperature,theoven
controlwillbeepandthedisplaywillshowtheoven
temperature.
Baking resultswillbe better ifbaking pans are
cenmred in the oven as much as possible. If
baking with more than one pan, place the
pans so each has at least 1 to 1½"of air space
around it. Ifbaking four cake layersat the
same time, place two layerson shelf Band two
layers on shelf D. Stagger pans on the shelf so
one isnot directly abo_e the other
Aluminum Foil
Donotusealuminumfoilonthebottomoftheoven.
Ne_r entirely co_er a shelf with ahmfinum
foil. This willdismrh the heat ciivulaflon and
resultin poor baking.
Asmaller sheet of foilmaybe used to catch
a spilloverhyplacing it on a lowershelf several
inches below the food.
