8.2 Motor Power Converter
The active power measuring converter module as shown in Figure 8-3 is wired in line
with the OLTC motor in the relevant control cabinet and provides a 4-20 mA output.

The specification and dimensions for the Power Converter are shown in Figure 8-4.

The connection point of the tap changer power converter is typically located in the OLTC
control cabinet close to the motor.
Note: The wiring of the tap changer motor drive must be extended to accommodate
the Power converter.
