Troubleshooting: Diagnostic Tests
To perform the battery discharge test, proceed as follows:
NOTE
To cancel the test at anytime, press the esc key.
1. Plug the unit into AC (mains) power.
2. Select Battery Discharge Test.
The battery discharge test window will appear and the unit will
begin to charge the battery.
Once the battery is fully charged, the message Turn the AC power to
the unit OFF! will appear.
3. Unplug the unit from AC (mains) power and select OK.
4. Re-select Battery Discharge Test.
The battery will begin to discharge.
5. When the battery has fully discharged, the unit will shut-off.
Reconnect the unit to AC power and turn the unit on.
6. Go to “Print Charge/Discharge Test Results” on page 5-14. Reconnect
the device to AC power to print the results.
