Maintenance: Disassembly Guidelines
Service Only Setups
1. From the Main Menu, select System Setup.
2. Press Shift + F2 at the System Setup menu.
3. Enter the service password and press Enter.
4. The Service Only Setup window is displayed.
5. Enter the serial number of the system.
NOTE
This is the number which was used when the option codes for this system
were generated. The number entered here must match the serial number on
the label of the system.
6. Select/verify that No is selected for Update Primary Boot.
7. Enter the Print head resistance. This number can be found on the print head
label.
8. Select the appropriate language in the Keyboard menu.
9. Select Return.
Restore System Setups
1. Power up the cart.
2. From the Main Menu, select System Setup.
3. Enter the System Password and press Enter.
4. Select Restore Setup from the System Setup menu.
5. Insert the floppy disk with the system setups which was set aside in before you
removed the previous CPU board.
6. Select From Diskette from the Restore Setup menu.
