7. Repeat from "Configuring Anesthesia Machine to Mini Field
Agent" for each anesthesia machine that needs to be connected
to Carestation Insights. After verifying that the data is present on
the dashboard for each machine, no more potential
troubleshooting or configuration is required. Keep the
anesthesia machines connected. Keep the connection from the
Mini Field Agent to the facility network. You can remove the
Ethernet cable that is connected from the computer to the Mini
Field Agent if you are still connected as it was needed only for
configuration purposes.

DEFINITIONS
IP Address A unique string of numbers separated by periods
that identifies each computer using the Internet
Protocol (IP) to communicate over a network.
Subnet Mask A screen of numbers used for routing traffic within a
network.
Default Gateway A default gateway serves as an access point or IP
router that a networked computer uses to send
information to a computer in another network or the
Internet. Default means that this gateway is used by
default, unless an application specifies another
gateway.
DNS Server A Domain Name System (DNS) server is a type of
name server that manages, maintains and
processes Internet domain names and their
associated records. In other words, a DNS server is
the primary component that implements the DNS
protocol and provisions domain name resolution
services to Web hosts and clients on an IP-based
network.
Proxy Host Otherwise known as a Proxy Server. This is a server
that is located between a client application, such as
a Web browser, and a real server. It intercepts all
requests to the real server to see if it can fulfil the
requests itself. If not, it forwards the request to the
real server.
Proxy Port Higher level applications that use TCP/IP such as
the Web protocol, Hypertext Transfer Protocol, have
ports with preassigned numbers. These are known
as “well known ports” that have been assigned by
the Internet Assigned Numbers.
CLOUD_URL A URL provided by GE to the customer where the
case data is sent.
