6.2. Repeaters
RS-485 Transceivers (Repeaters) are required for large networks of instruments.
•
In a two-wire connection, a maximum of 247 instruments on one COM port of the PC can
be included in the same network.
•
One RS 485 Segment can accommodate only 32 Devices.
