7. Connect the barcode reader to the USB port of the Docking
Station/Cart.

To set up the barcode reader, please follow the steps below:
• Connect barcode reader to the system.
• Go to Utility -> Settings -> USB Accessories to set
Barcode Reader on.
• Scan the three bar code below in order, from top to
bottom. First scan the bar
code, then scan . This resets the
scanner to the factory default settings. Finally, scan the
bar code. It programs a carriage return (CR)
suffix. Now the Barcode Reader is ready for use.
