Displays shows:
Press DISPLAY button to confirm the unit of measure “Met.” (which
stands for Metric System)
13.1.3 Set microprocessor value
Displays shows:
DO NOT CHANGE THIS VALUE, press DISPLAY button to confirm.
13.1.4 Set regeneration mode
Display shows:
Regeneration can take place in two different operating modes:
- Mode 1: Regeneration takes place by time, it means every “n” set days
and at the time set.
- Mode 2: Regeneration takes place as soon as softening capacity is
exhausted, regardless of the days passed and respecting the time set in
the PROGRAMMING FOR THE END USER (see section 13.2).
Press CHANGE button to change regeneration mode.
Press DISPLAY button to confirm.
- If you choose “Mode 1”.
Display will show:
This is the regeneration frequency in days.
The cursor shows the number to be changed, so press CHANGE to
change the first figure (values to be set are 0 or 1) and SELECT to move
cursor to the second figure.
Press DISPLAY button to confirm the regeneration frequency.
P.S. The maximum regeneration frequency to be set is 12 days.
13.1.5 Set water hardness
Display shows:
Water hardness is expressed in milligrams per litre (1° f corresponds to
10 mg/l).
The cursor shows the number to be changed, so press CHANGE to
change the first figure, that is the thousands, and SELECT to move cursor
to the other figures (hundreds, tens, units).
Example: If you have to set 45 °f (= 450 mg/l) you shall press SELECT and
CHANGE buttons until you reach the value of 0450 mg/l:
Press DISPLAY button to confirm the hardness.
13.1.6 Set iron level in water
Display shows:
Iron in water is expressed in milligrams per litre.
The cursor shows the number to be changed, so press CHANGE to
change the first figure, that is the thousands, and SELECT to move cursor
to the second figure.
P.S. If iron has decimal figures, please set the next unit value.
Example: If Iron is 1,2 mg/l, set 2 mg/l.
Press DISPLAY button to confirm Iron value
13.1.7 Set manganese in water
Display shows:
Manganese in water is expressed in milligrams per litre.
The cursor shows the number to be changed, so press CHANGE to
change the first figure and SELECT to move cursor to the second figure.
P.S. If Manganese has decimal figures, please set the next unit value.
Example: If Manganese is 0,2 mg/l, set 1 mg/l.
Press DISPLAY button to confirm Manganese value.
13.1.8 Set regenerant type
Display shows:
Press CHANGE to change regenerant type:
Sodium chloride = Sodium (kitchen salt)
Potassium chloride = Potassium (to be use for irrigation only)
Press DISPLAY button to confirm
13.1.9 Display Comp. Hard
Display shows:
Compensated hardness is made up of the values of hardness, iron and
manganese set.
Press DISPLAY button to confirm
13.1.10 Set exchange capacity
Display shows:
Exchange capacity is shown in mg/l x m3.
Value changes according to the model:
- Compact Mini. Cyclic capacity: 500 mg/l x m
3
corresponding to
50 °f x m3.
- Compact Medium. Cyclic capacity: 1000 mg/l x m
3
corresponding to
100 °f x m3.
- Compact Maxi. Cyclic capacity: 1400 mg/l x m
3
corresponding to
140 °f x m3.
The cursor shows the number to be changed, so press CHANGE to
change the first figure, that is the thousands, and SELECT to move cursor
to the other figures (hundreds, tens, units).
Press DISPLAY button to confirm cyclic capacity.
13.1.11 Set regeneration in presence of iron and/or manganese
Display shows:
In presence of iron and/or manganese, confirm YES with the DISPLAY
button, otherwise select NO.
13.1.12 Set backwash duration
Display shows:
Such value stands for the duration of the first regeneration cycle
(backwash).
For all Compact models, the duration of the first regeneration cycle is 1
minute.
Press DISPLAY button to confirm the duration of the first regeneration
cycle.
