Valve with external travel sensor
● Fix positioner 1 at a suitable location.
The GEMÜ 1446 00 ZMP
mounting bracket (to be ordered
separately) can be used to do
this.
● Assemble the travel sensor (see chapter
3.1 “Assembling the travel sensor”).
l Mount travel sensor 4 to actuator 3 and
fi x it to travel sensor 4 using a suitable
open-end wrench SW27.

3.4 Mounting the positioner using
a mounting bracket
The positioner is mounted with a
mounting bracket when valves are
used which have larger position
changes than the integrated travel
sensor on the positioner can detect.

Valve with mounting bracket
● Assemble the travel sensor (see chapter
3.1 “Assembling the travel sensor”).
● Place mounting bracket 5 with travel
sensor 4 on actuator 3 and fi x it to travel
sensor 4 using a suitable open-end
wrench SW27.
● Fix positioner 1 to mounting bracket 5.
