GENERAC POWER SYSTEMS "TWO YEAR" LiMiTED WARRANTY FOR

XG SERIES PORTABLE GENERATORS

Fora period of two (2) yearsfrom the date of original sale, GeneracPower Systems, Inc. (Generac)warrants its XGSeries generatorswill befreefrom defects in materials

and workmanshipfor the itemsand period set forth below. Generacwill, at its discretion,repair or replaceany part that, upon examination,inspection and testing by

Generacor a GeneracAuthorizedWarranty Service Dealer,isfound to be defective.Repair or replacementpursuant to this limited warranty shall not renew or extendthe

original warranty period.Any repairedproduct shall be warrantedfor the remainingoriginal warranty period only.Any equipment that the purchaser/owner claims to be

defectivemust be returnedto andexamined by the nearestGeneracAuthorizedWarranty Service Dealer.All transportation costs underthe warranty, includingreturn to

the factory, areto be borneand prepaid by the purchaser/owneKThis warranty applies onlyto GeneracXGSeriesportable generatorsand is not transferablefrom original

purchaseESave your proof-of-purchase receipt. If you donot provide proof of the initial purchase date,the manufacturer's shipping date of the product will be usedto

determinethe warranty period.

WARRANTY SCHEDULE

Consumerapplications are warrantedfor two (2) years. Commercial and Rentalapplications arewarranted for one (1) year or 1000 hours maximum, whichever comes first.

NOTE: Forthe purposeof this warranty "consumer use" means personalresidentialhousehold or recreationaluse by original purchaser.This warranty does not apply to

units used for PrimePower in placeof utility whereutility power service is present or where utility power service does not normally exist. Oncea generatorhas

experiencedcommercial or rental use, it shall thereafter be considereda non-consumer use generatorfor the purposeof this warranty.

Guidelines:

1. All warranty repairs, must be performed and/or addressed by an Authorized/CertifiedGenerac Dealer,or branchthereof.

2. Units that havebeen resold arenot covered underthe GeneracWarranty,as this Warrantyis not transferable.

3. Useof Non-Generacreplacementpart(s) will void the warranty in its entirety.

4. Generacmay choose to Repair,Replace or Refund a piece of equipment.

5. Warranty Labor Ratesare basedon normal working hours. Additional costs for overtime, holiday or emergencylabor costs for repairs outside of normal business hours

will be the responsibility of the customer.

6. Warranty Parts shipment costs are reimbursedat ground shipment rates. Costsrelatedto requestsfor expeditedshippingwill be the responsibility ofthe customeK

7. Verification of requiredmaintenancemay be requiredfor warranty coverage.

THiS WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY TO THE FOLLOWING:

1. Costs of normal maintenanceand adjustments.

2. Failures caused by any contaminatedfuels, oils or lack of proper oil levels.

3. Repairs or diagnostics performed by individuals other than Generacauthorizeddealersnot authorizedin writing by Generac.

4. Failures due, but not limited, to normal wear andtear,accident, misuse, abuse, negligenceor improper use.

5. As with all mechanical devices,the Generacengines need periodic part(s) service and replacementto perform as designed.This warranty will not cover repair when

normal use has exhaustedthelife of a part(s) or engine.

6. Failures caused by any externalcause or act of God,such as collision,theft, vandalism, riot or wars, nuclearevent,fire, freezing,lightning, earth-quake,windstorm, hail,

volcanic eruption, water or flood, tornado or hurricane.

7. Damage relatedto rodent and/or insect infestation.

8. Products that are modified or altered in a manner not authorized by Generac in writing.

9. Any incidental, consequential or indirect damages caused by defectsin materials or workmanship, or any delay in repair or replacement of the defectivepart(s).

10. Failuredue to misapplication.

11. Expenses relatedto "customer instruction" or troubleshooting where no manufacturing defect is found.

12. Rentalequipment usedwhile warranty repairs are beingperformed.

13. Starting batteries,fuses, light bulbs and enginefluids.

THISWARRANTYIS INPLACEOFALL OTHERWARRANTIES,EXPRESSEDOR IMPLIED,SPECIFICALLY,GENERACMAKESNO OTHERWARRANTIESAS TO THE

MERCHANTABILITYORFITNESSFORA PARTICULARPURPOSE.Any impliedwarranties which areallowed by law, shall be limited in durationto the terms of the express

warranty provided herein.Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may notapply to purchaser/owner.

GENERAC'SONLYLIABILITYSHALLBETHEREPAIRORREPLACEMENTOF PART(S)AS STATEDABOVE.IN NOEVENTSHALLGENERACBE LIABLEFORANYINCIDENTAL,

ORCONSEQUENTIALDAMAGES,EVENIF SUCHDAMAGESAREA DIRECTRESULTOF GENERAC'SNEGLIGENCE.Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
