With the vehicle on, select ‘Driver
assistance → parking safety → Rear cross-
traffic safety’ from the Settings menu
to turn on Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-
Avoidance Assist and deselect to turn off
the function.

Warning timing
With the vehicle on, select ‘Driver
assistance → Warning timing’ from the
Settings menu to change the initial
warning activation time for Rear Cross-
Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist.
The warning time can be set to either
‘Standard (Normal)’ or ‘Later’.
• Use 'Standard' in normal driving
conditions. If the Warning timing
seems sensitive, change it to 'Later'.
• If 'Later' is selected, Rear Cross-Traffic
Collision-Avoidance Assist, warns the
driver more slowly.
Information
If you change the Warning timing, the
Warning timing of other Driver Assistance
systems may change.
