3. Make sure that the power cord is securely connected.
4. Turn on the power by pressing the side marked “I” on the power switch
All indicators blink two times, the M1 (Macro 1) indicator on the printer control panel will
light with the DEC and PPX24 indicators flashing alternately, the print head will move to
its home position, and the Soft Ctrl. indicator will light.
Caution: In this step, there is no paper loaded, the printer beeps and the Fault indicator
lights. The Ready indicator will light depending on the setting of the paper
select lever located on the top left of the printer.
