Activating/deactivating auto
answer
If you activate this function, when you
receive a call you can simply lift the handset
out of the charging cradle without having to
press the talk key c.

Select and press
§OK§ (=on).
a Press and hold (idle status).
Changing the speaker/
earpiece volume
You can set the loudspeaker volume for
speaker mode to five different levels and the
earpiece volume to three different levels.

r Set the earpiece volume.
s Scroll to the Speaker line.
r Set the speaker volume.
§Save§ Press display key if necessary to
save the setting permanently.
Setting the volume during a call:
t Press the control key.
r Select volume.
§Save§ Press display key if necessary to
save the setting permanently.
The setting will automatically be saved after
approx. 3 seconds, if not then press the dis-
play key
§Save§.
If t is assigned to another function:
§Options§ Open menu.
Volume Select and press §OK§.
Configure setting (see above).
Changing ringers
u Volume:
You can choose between five volumes (1–
5; e.g. volume 2 = ˆ) and the
"crescendo" ring (6; volume increases
with each ring = ‰).
u Ringers:
You can select various ringers.
You can set different ringers for the follow-
ing functions:
u Ext. Calls: for external calls
u Internal Calls: for internal calls
u All: the same ringer for all functions
Settings for individual functions
Set the volume and melody depending on
the type of signalling required.

r Set volume (1–6).
s Scroll to the next line.
r Select melody.
§Save§ Press the display key to save the
setting.

§Save§ Press the display key and con-
firm the security prompt with
§Yes§ to save the setting.
