Rheodyne 5011, 5012, 7060, or 9060 valve. To
verify that the valve is properly installed:
1 If the valve has a loop, remove the loop.
2 Fill a syringe.
3 Connect the syringe to the center port and
dispense liquid into the port.
4 Verify that the liquid exits port 1. If it does not,
remove the valve, orient the valve in its home
position, and install the valve again. (Refer to
pages 2-13 and 2-14.) Then repeat steps 1–4.
5 Press the up arrow key.
6 Dispense additional liquid into the center port.
7 Verify that the liquid exits port 2.
Rheodyne 5031, 5032, 7030, or 9030 valve. To
verify that the valve is properly installed:
1 If the valve has a loop, remove the loop.
2 Fill a syringe.
3 Connect the syringe to port 2 and dispense
liquid into the port.
4 Verify that the liquid exits port 1. If it does not,
remove the valve, orient the valve in its home
position, and install the valve again. (Refer to
pages 2-13 and 2-14.) Then repeat steps 1–4.
5 Press the up arrow key.
6 Dispense additional liquid into port 2.
7 Verify that the liquid exits port 3.
