Rheodyne 5041, 5042, 7000, 7010, 7040, 7610,
7710, 9010, or 9710 valve. To verify that the valve
is properly installed:
1 If the valve has a loop, remove the loop.
2 Fill a syringe.
3 Connect the syringe to port 2 and dispense
liquid into the port.
4 Verify that the liquid exits port 3. If it does not,
remove the valve, orient the valve in its home
position, and install the valve again. (Refer to
pages 2-13 and 2-14.) Then repeat steps 1–4.
5 Press the up arrow key.
6 Dispense additional liquid into port 2.
7 Verify that the liquid exits port 1.
