INTRODUCTION
The instrument display identies the gas(es) the instrument is
monitoring. A ve gas instrument display is shown in Fig. 1.2:

1.2 FEATURES
The main features of the instrument are:
• Integral impact resistant housing.
• Two button user operation.
• Up to ve gases detected simultaneously.
• Alphanumeric display with backlight.
• High intensity audible and visual alarms.
• Condence signal (green LED’s and/or sounder).
• Self test.
• Built-in electric pump (optional).
• Automatic & manual data logging.
• Three types of battery pack: Long Duration, Fast Charge,
and Alkaline. For operational lifetime, see “Table 4.1
