  Tailing in the spray pattern of your Graco Service Equipment can occur due to several reasons. It may be caused by a static mixer or whip hose plugging up, low pressure from the proportioner, cold material, too much pressure drop, insufficient air supply (possibly due to a small air hose or compressor), motor icing, or dirty filters in the pumps or spray gun. You may need to clean the static mixers, check air supply pressure, increase heat, use larger hoses or more heat, use de-ice bleed air on the motor, wait for the motor to thaw or clean the filters.
