What to do if the Graco Service Equipment spray pattern is developing tails?
    • M
      Mr. Robert MillerAug 7, 2025
Tailing in the spray pattern of your Graco Service Equipment can occur due to several reasons. It may be caused by a static mixer or whip hose plugging up, low pressure from the proportioner, cold material, too much pressure drop, insufficient air supply (possibly due to a small air hose or compressor), motor icing, or dirty filters in the pumps or spray gun. You may need to clean the static mixers, check air supply pressure, increase heat, use larger hoses or more heat, use de-ice bleed air on the motor, wait for the motor to thaw or clean the filters.

What to do if mixed fluid will not flush out of Graco Service Equipment?

      michael25Aug 12, 2025
If the mixed fluid won't flush out of your Graco Service Equipment, it could be due to several reasons. The fluid might have hardened in the static mixers or whip hose, the solvent supply container might be empty, or the solvent being used might not be compatible with the fluid. Try cleaning with a compatible solvent or refilling the solvent supply container and if this does not work, switch to a compatible solvent.

    • S
      Stephanie SotoAug 16, 2025
If your Graco Service Equipment has little or no hardener output, it may be because the fluid inlet is plugged, the fluid container is empty or the hardener screen is plugged. To resolve this, try cleaning the inlet to remove any obstruction or refilling the fluid container.

    • S
      Stephanie MartinezAug 25, 2025
If the hardener pressure is higher than normal in your Graco Service Equipment, it could be due to the hardener being cold or a restrictor or screen plugging up. To address this, correct the heat problem or open the restrictor or clean the screen.

What causes low hardener pressure in Graco Service Equipment?
    • X
      xpetersonAug 29, 2025
If the hardener pressure is lower than normal in your Graco Service Equipment, it could be because the resin is cold and the flow rate is low, or the hardener restrictor is worn. Try to correct the heat problem.

What causes off ratio condition in Graco Service Equipment after increasing spray pressure?
    • K
      Kevin FullerSep 2, 2025
An off-ratio condition in your Graco Service Equipment after increasing spray pressure with a remote mix manifold can be caused by hoses not being volume balanced. To resolve this, volume balance A and B remote material hoses closer to the volume mix ratio.
