Ensurethatthegeneratormatchesthevoltageand
phaseoftheproportioner.
Usethefollowingproceduretodeterminethecorrect
sizegenerator.
1.Listpeakwattagerequirementsofallsystem
components.
2.Addthewattagerequiredbythesystem
components.
3.Performthefollowingequation:
Totalwattsx1.25=kVA(kilovolt-amperes)
4.Selectageneratorsizethatisequaltoorgreater
thanthedeterminedkVA.
•Usetheelectricalratinginthemodelssection(see
Models,page9)todeterminethecorrectsize
powercord.
