Why does my Graco SaniSpray HP 20 Paint Sprayer make no sound when I pull the trigger?
    • M
      Monica FieldsSep 3, 2025
If your Graco Paint Sprayer makes no sound when you pull the trigger, it could be due to several reasons: * If the Diagnostic Light doesn't blink when you first plug in the sprayer, it indicates no power. Verify the power supply or replace the Enclosure/SmartControl assembly. * If the Diagnostic Light blinks once when plugged in, the motor may have overheated. Wait 20–30 minutes for it to cool down. * If the Diagnostic Light blinks four times when the trigger is pulled, it indicates a locked rotor. Replace the pump assembly and motor. Additionally, the motor brushes could be worn, requiring motor replacement. You can also try replacing the SmartControl with enclosure kit.

    • W
      William HutchinsonSep 6, 2025

Why my Graco SaniSpray HP 20 Paint Sprayer makes no sound when Sprayer Trigger is pulled?
    • J
      Jesse BradySep 9, 2025
If your Graco Paint Sprayer makes no sound when the Sprayer Trigger is pulled, the Diagnostic Light may provide clues. If it blinks two times, the voltage is incorrect, and you should replace the Battery with a charged one. Three blinks indicate the Battery temperature is too hot or cold; allow it to cool down or warm up to room temperature. Four blinks suggest a locked rotor condition, requiring replacement of the pump assembly and enclosure/SmartControl assembly. If the Diagnostic Light doesn't blink at all, the Battery may not be installed or is damaged, so install or replace it. In some cases, the Enclosure/ SmartControl assembly may need to be replaced.

What to do if my Graco SaniSpray HP 20 makes sound but no material is sprayed?
    • J
      Jonathan HartmanNov 21, 2025
If your Graco Paint Sprayer makes a sound but no material is sprayed, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the Prime Pump/Spray knob is in the SPRAY position and the Spray Tip is also in the SPRAY position. Check if the material cup is empty or contains very little material; if so, refill the FlexLiner and prime the pump. Other potential causes include a plugged Pump Filter (which should be cleaned), the Speed Control being set too low (increase it until the unit sprays), or the pump reaching the end of its life (in which case, replace the pump assembly). Also, make sure there is only one FlexLiner in the Cup Support, the Cup Lid is properly threaded and tightened to the Cup Support, the cup assembly is properly locked on the sprayer, all the air is out of the FlexLiner and the ...
