Why is my Graco Paint Sprayer spitting?
    • B
      bradleyrogersAug 14, 2025
If your Graco Paint Sprayer is spitting, it could be due to air in the fluid pump or hose. Check the siphon assembly for loose connections and tighten them. Then, re-prime the pump. Another cause could be a low or empty fluid supply, so refill the supply container.

    • J
      Joe BlackAug 17, 2025
If your Graco Paint Sprayer's gas engine doesn't start, check if the switch is OFF, the oil level is low, or there's no gasoline. Consult the engine manual for further assistance. Also, ensure the fuel shut-off valve is open.

How to fix low fluid delivery on my Graco Standard?
    • P
      Pamela HicksAug 20, 2025
Low fluid delivery in your Graco Paint Sprayer can be caused by a pressure setting that is too low. Increase the pressure according to the Operation manual. Also, check if the displacement pump outlet filter is dirty or clogged and clean it. In addition, the hydraulic motor might be worn or damaged, consider taking the sprayer to a Graco distributor for repair. Finally, a large pressure drop in the fluid hose can cause this, so use a larger diameter or shorter hose.

If your Graco Paint Sprayer is overheating, it could be due to paint build-up on hydraulic components, so clean the hydraulic components. Another cause could be a low oil level, so fill it with oil, according to the Operation manual. Also, check if the inlet to the hydraulic pump pulley/cooling fan or the inlet to the 3-phase electric motor cooling fan is obstructed, and remove any obstructions.
