Battery
5. Disconnect Battery wires and remove battery. See
General Maintenance Section for detailed
instructions.
6. Place battery on bench or well ventilated area where
electrolyte spill will not create damage.
7. Fill each cell with electrolyte to level indicated.
8. Charge battery and reinstall on unit.
Tires
9. Adjust tire pressure. See tire side wall for proper
pressures.
Seat
10.Install seat (Figure 6).
Engine Oil
11.Check and add engine oil if required. Refer to Engine
Manual for specications.
Engine Fuel
12.Fill Fuel Tank. Refer to General Maintenance.
WARNING
EXPLOSIVE GASES can result in death or serious
injury.
BATTERY ELECTROLYTE contact can result in
severe chemical burns.
No open ames, No sparks, and No smoking materials
near Battery.
Always wear safety glasses and proper protective
gear.
Battery Electrolyte First Aid:
External Contact: Flush with water.
Eyes: Flush with water for at least 15 minutes and
get medical attention immediately!
Internal Contact: Drink large quantities of water.
Follow with Milk of Magnesia, beaten egg or vegetable
oil. Get medical attention immediately!
IMPORANT: In case of internal contact, DO NOT
induce vomiting!
WARNING
Battery posts, terminals and related accessories
contain lead and lead compounds, chemicals known to
the State of California to cause cancer and
reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling.
WARNING
FLAMMABLE FUEL and its EXPLOSIVE VAPORS
can result in death or serious injury.
Handle fuel with extreme care. ALWAYS use an
approved fuel container. Clean up oil or fuel spills.
No Smoking! No Lighted Materials!
No Open Flames!
Allow engine to cool before any service.
