WARNING LIGHTS, ENGINE WATER
TEMPERATURE GAUGE
This unit is equipped with warning lights, and a gauge to
alert operator in the event there is a problem with the
engine. Warning lights are located in the center of unit
instrument panel.
NOTE: The warning lights and water temperature gauge
indicate different problems on the engine:
Oil pressure Light indicates a loss of oil
pressure.
Charge Light indicates an alternator
discharge condition.
Water Temperature Gauge indicates engine and/or
transmission overheating.If a light comes on while
operating, stop the unit and engine as quickly as
possible. Check the engine or electrical systems. To
check to see if the lights are operating correctly, turn the
ignition switch to the On position. The oil pressure and
charge lights should glow red.
IMPORTANT: Maximum engine operating temperature is
210° F. If water temperature reaches 210° F, stop engine
and check for a clogged radiator screen. If unit is
operated with a water temperature in excess of 210° F,
engine failure or damage can result. Check for a clogged
radiator and clean if necessary. Check engine coolant
(see General Maintenance).
LIGHT (OPTIONAL)
Light is operated by headlight switch. Push switch to ON
position to turn lights on. Push switch to OFF position to
turn lights off.
CRUISE CONTROL (OPTIONAL)
To x speed, depress directional control pedal to the
desired speed, then push cruise control switch
(Figure 10) until light is on; your speed will be
maintained. To disengage cruise, either push switch off or
depress either of brake pedals which are located on left
side.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT push or pull (tow) unit with
another vehicle as transmission damage will occur. When
transporting, use truck or trailer. Assure range select
lever is in neutral, not fast or slow range.
DANGER
COOLANT TEMPERATURE MUST BE BELOW
100º F on temperature gauge or serious burns may
result.
ALWAYS wait for engine to cool before service.

WARNING
DO NOT start engine with cruise control on.
ALWAYS turn off cruise control before stopping engine
or leaving seat.
DO NOT operate unit if cruise control fails to operate
properly. Repair or remove cruise control before
operation.
CAUTION
If directional control pedal is repositioned while cruise
indicator light is on, cruise will reset at new speed
and/or direction selected.
